데살로니가전서 4장 13-14절

형제자매 여러분, 우리는 여러분이 잠든 사람의 문제를 모르고 지내는 것을 원하지 않습니다. 여러분은 소망을 가지지 못한 다른 사람들과 같이 슬퍼하지 않아야 할 것입니다. 우리는 예수께서 죽으셨다가 살아나신 것을 믿습니다. 이와 같이 하나님께서 예수 안에서 잠든 사람들도 예수와 함께 데리고 오실 것입니다. _새번역성경

兄弟たちよ。眠っている 人々については、無知でいてもらいたくない。望みを 持たない 外の 人々のように、あなたがたが 悲しむことのないためである。わたしたちが 信じているように、イエスが 死んで 復活されたからには、同様に 神は イエスにあって 眠っている 人々をも、イエスと 一緖に 導き 出して 下さるであろう。_口語訳

But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus._NASB

And regarding the question, friends, that has come up about what happens to those already dead and buried, we don’t want you in the dark any longer. First off, you must not carry on over them like people who have nothing to look forward to, as if the grave were the last word. Since Jesus died and broke loose from the grave, God will most certainly bring back to life those who died in Jesus._The Message
