데살로니가전서 5장 9-11절

하나님께서는 우리를 진노하심에 이르도록 정하여 놓으신 것이 아니라, 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 구원을 얻도록 정하여 놓으셨습니다. 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 죽으신 것은, 우리가 깨어 있든지 자고 있든지, 그리스도와 함께 살게 하시려는 것입니다. 그러므로 여러분은 지금도 그렇게 하는 것과 같이, 서로 격려하고, 서로 덕을 세우십시오. _새번역성경

神は、わたしたちを 怒りにあわせるように 定められたのではなく、わたしたちの 主 イエス · キリストによって 救を 得るように 定められたのである。キリストがわたしたちのために 死なれたのは、さめていても 眠っていても、わたしたちが 主と 共に 生きるためである。だから、あなたがたは、今しているように、互に 慰め 合い、相互の 徳を 高めなさい。_口語訳

For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing. _NASB

God didn’t set us up for an angry rejection but for salvation by our Master, Jesus Christ. He died for us, a death that triggered life. Whether we’re awake with the living or asleep with the dead, we’re alive with him! So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind. I know you’re already doing this; just keep on doing it.
