요한복음 1장 1-5절

  태초에 '말씀'이 계셨다. 그 '말씀'은 하나님과 함께 계셨다. 그 '말씀'은 하나님이셨다.  그는 태초에 하나님과 함께 계셨다. 모든 것이 그로 말미암아 창조되었으니, 그가 없이 창조된 것은 하나도 없다. 창조된 것은 그에게서 생명을 얻었으니, 그 생명은 사람의 빛이었다. 그 빛이 어둠 속에서 비치니, 어둠이 그 빛을 이기지 못하였다._새번역성경

初めに 言があった． 言は 神と 共にあった． 言は 神であった． この 言は 初めに 神と 共にあった．すべてのものは， これによってできた． できたもののうち， 一つとしてこれによらないものはなかった．この 言に 命があった． そしてこの 命は 人の 光であった．光はやみの 中に 輝いている． そして， やみはこれに 勝たなかった． _口語訳

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. _NASB

The Word was first, the Word present to God, God present to the Word. The Word was God, in readiness for God from day one. Everything was created through him; nothing—not one thing!—
came into being without him. What came into existence was Life, and the Life was Light to live by. The Life-Light blazed out of the darkness; the darkness couldn’t put it out._The Message
