야고보서 5장 19-20절

 나의 형제자매 여러분, 여러분 가운데서 진리를 떠나 그릇된 길을 가는 사람이 있을 때에, 누구든지 그를 돌아서게 하는 사람은 이 사실을 알아두십시오. 죄인을 그릇된 길에서 돌아서게 하는 사람은 그 죄인의 영혼을 죽음에서 구할 것이고, 또 많은 죄를 덮어줄 것입니다. _새번역성경 

わたしの 兄弟たちよ。あなたがたのうち、真理の 道から 踏み 迷う 者があり、だれかが 彼を 引きもどすなら、かように 罪人を 迷いの 道から 引きもどす 人は、そのたましいを 死から 救い 出し、かつ、多くの 罪をおおうものであることを、知るべきである。_口語訳 

My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins. _NASB 

My dear friends, if you know people who have wandered off from God’s truth, don’t write them off. Go after them. Get them back and you will have rescued precious lives from destruction and prevented an epidemic of wandering away from God._The Message
