요한복음 8장 23-24절

  예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "너희는 아래에서 왔고, 나는 위에서 왔다. 너희는 이 세상에 속하여 있지만, 나는 이 세상에 속하여 있지 않다. 그래서 나는, 너희가 너희의 죄 가운데서 죽을 것이라고 말하였다. '내가 곧 나'임을 너희가 믿지 않으면, 너희는 너희의 죄 가운데서 죽을 것이다." _새번역성경

イエス は 彼らに 言われた， 「あなたがたは 下から 出た 者だが， わたしは 上からきた 者である． あなたがたはこの 世の 者であるが， わたしはこの 世の 者ではない．だからわたしは， あなたがたは 自分の 罪のうちに 死ぬであろうと， 言ったのである． もしわたしがそういう 者であることをあなたがたが 信じなければ， 罪のうちに 死ぬことになるからである 」．_口語訳

And He was saying to them, "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins." _NASB

Jesus said, “You’re tied down to the mundane; I’m in touch with what is beyond your horizons. You live in terms of what you see and touch. I’m living on other terms. I told you that you were missing God in all this. You’re at a dead end. If you won’t believe I am who I say I am, you’re at the dead end of sins. You’re missing God in your lives.”_The Message
