히브리서 12장 2절

믿음의 창시자요 완성자이신 예수를 바라봅시다. 그는 자기 앞에 놓여 있는 기쁨을 내다보고서, 부끄러움을 마음에 두지 않으시고, 십자가를 참으셨습니다. 그리하여 그는 하나님의 보좌 오른쪽에 앉으셨습니다. _새번역성경 

信仰の導き 手であり、またその 完成者である イエスを 仰ぎ　見つつ、走ろうではないか。 彼は、自分の 前におかれている 喜びのゆえに、恥をもいとわないで 十字架を 忍び、神の 御座の 右に 座するに 至ったのである。_口語訳 

fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. _NASB 

 Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. _The Message
